Brief
In summer 2021, I was a product design intern at Redfin on the User Growth Team. I collaborated with designers, product managers, and developers to work on two projects that aim to build trust in Redfin’s brand, as part of Redfin’s mission to redefine real estate in the customer’s favor.
Here are some things I worked on:
Led research and redesign of a key feature on the Redfin app
Hosted a workshop with product managers and product designers to brainstorm ideas to inform future roadmaps
Led a comprehensive redesign of the empty states across Redfin to optimize for consistency
Contributed components to Redfin’s consumer-facing design system

HIGHLIGHTS
Chatting with the CEO of Redfin, Glenn Kelman!
Multiple times during the internship program, product and engineering interns had an opportunity to meet with Glenn in small groups and chat with him about Redfin’s goals, challenges of running a business, building a start-up, and favorites books (to list a few). These casual yet enlightening chats were definitely one of the highlights of my experience at Redfin!
